Mural FAQ
Q: How do I hire you for a mural?
A: To get started, please email me at evanpaulenglish (@) gmail.com with your name, business, mural concept, and photos of the space you'd like the mural to be painted on.
Q: How long does the average mural take?
A: I typically require a 2-3 month lead time to plan a mural. During the first two months, I will conduct a site visit, develop a sketch, and work with you to schedule an installation date. Depending on the size and complexity of the mural, the actual painting process usually takes 1-2 weeks.
Q: How much do murals cost?
A: My mural pricing is structured as follows: a flat fee of $1,000, which covers the site visit, the initial sketch, one round of feedback, and the final approved design. The cost is then $45 per square foot of painted surface. A 50% deposit of the total projected budget is required to secure the project, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the mural. All materials are included at no additional charge. However, if specialized equipment such as a lift or scaffolding is needed, those costs will be added separately.
Q: What kind of paint do you use?
A: For interior murals, I prefer using latex or acrylic paint. For exterior projects or glass surfaces, I use enamel or exterior latex paint for durability.
